✦Lead efforts to pass ordinances and influence policy discussions;

✦Represent clients before the City Council and Public Officials in Public Hearings to convey the interests of constituents;

✦Successful passage of multiple city ordinances and endorsing advocates;

✦Assist in resolving racial tensions in areas of employment, housing and public accommodations;

✦Monitor, evaluate and implemented City programs in education, homelessness, disability, education and public safety;

✦Hold public hearings related to community programs;

✦Conduct research and analysis for best practices;

✦Establish relationships with community advocates, City Officials and media for targeted collaborations;

✦Implement health programs in the underrepresented immigrant and refugee communities.
